Time Bomb is a collaborative work by Helen Bledsoe and Lorelei Dowling. Inspired by various aspects of climate change due to melting arctic permafrost, this is a three-movement work is for contraforte and electronics (with possible live electronics). ALL of the sounds you hear are derived from the contraforte, except the percussion in the 3rd movement.
1. Dissipation for Contraforte and electronics
2. Ebullition for Contraforte teeth-on-the-reed sounds and electronics.
3. Paleo Set: bring 'em back for Sampled or Live Contraforte and electronics (this is the sampled version, the live version is much more dynamic)
Many thanks to the Ministry of Culture and Science of Nordrhein-Westfalen for their support.
